BOARD OF COUNCILORS

The Board of Councilors provides guidance for the strategy and initiatives of the China-US Center. A range of government ministries and departments are represented along with diverse industry sectors, institutions of higher education and non-governmental organizations. Not only do members of the Board bring professional distinction to their mission, but a commitment to taking the lead in developing new initiatives.

China and the U.S. each appoint Co-Chairs to lead the Board of Councilors. The Founding Chair for China is Madame Deng Nan, Chief Executive Secretary of the China Association of Science and Technology, and the Founding U.S. Chair is William A. McDonough, FAIA, renowned architect and designer.
